See your roof clearly, without a ladder
Detailed photos of roofs, chimneys, gutters, siding and rooftop equipment, captured from the air so nobody has to climb up to get a look.
Anyone who needs a closer look at a roof
- Homeowners
- Roofing & exterior contractors
- Property managers & HOAs
- Commercial building owners
- Facility & maintenance teams
- Insurance & claims files
Problems it solves
- Roofs are hard and risky to see. Get clear photos without ladders or walking on the roof.
- It's hard to discuss what you can't see. Share the same photos with your roofer, insurer or property manager.
- You need a record. Document a roof before work starts, after it's finished, or after a storm.
- Equipment is spread across a big roof. Photograph every rooftop unit, vent and drain in one visit.

How I capture detail safely
The Matrice 4E carries two zoom cameras (70 mm and 168 mm equivalent) alongside its wide camera, so I can photograph shingles, flashing and equipment in detail while keeping a safe distance from the building, wires and trees.
Overview shots show the whole roof; close-ups follow a consistent order, so your contractor can match every photo to its location.
Photos, not an inspection
This service provides imagery. I don't assess condition, diagnose leaks, estimate remaining roof life or write inspection reports. In New York, written inspection reports on one- to four-family homes are prepared by licensed home inspectors, and structural questions belong with a licensed engineer.
Your roofer, inspector, engineer or adjuster interprets the photos. Thermal imaging isn't offered.
Roof photo questions
Will you tell me if my roof needs to be replaced?
No. I capture clear images; a roofer or inspector evaluates them. You can share the same photo set with every contractor you're talking to, so everyone is looking at the same thing.
Can you photograph my roof for an insurance claim?
Yes. I can capture dated photos of the roof and property for your claim file. Your adjuster or contractor assesses any damage.
Do you need to go on the roof?
No. Everything is captured from the air. I'll just need a safe spot to take off and land.
Can you measure my roof?
Approximate measurements from a 3D model are available on request for planning. Confirm them with your contractor before ordering materials.
Need eyes on a roof?
Send the address and what you'd like photographed.
